So, we’re always talking about the benefits of CBD, but for most of us – it’s out the question, it just isn’t the same as smoking. You already know smoking cannabis isn’t the healthiest alternative of consuming marijuana, but it’s not going to stop you, despite how often anti-stoners talk about how bad it is. Why? Because if you’re a cannabis smoker, the positives outweigh the negatives. So what are the benefits of smoking cannabis? and why do we love smoking weed?
One of the main reasons people smoke cannabis is for relaxation, stress relief, and therapeutic purposes; after a long day of hard work, all you want is a huge blunt to wind down, and have some you-time. No doubt, it works – whether you’re a regular stoner, or an only on special occasions kinda-guy, there’s absolutely nothing like it.
When we meet, or make friends, it’s usually because we can relate to them. Let’s face it, it’s not very often people hang around with a peer, who they have absolutely nothing in common with. Cannabis is, and has always been a great conversation starter, social attraction, and a way to meet new, and cool friends. With everyone in a good mood, it’s a very chill, enjoyable, and pleasant environment to be in, which due to stereotypes – is often the complete opposite non-smokers expect, from a group of stoners, but it’s them who’re missing out, right?
Alcohol – one of the widest spread legal drugs in the world, no doubt it’s great for letting your hair down, and having a good time, but we all know the feeling of the dreaded next morning, or half-way through the night; if you’re a light-weight. With headaches, dizziness, and nausea on the menu for breakfast, it’s surprising so many people drink so often, especially when they’ve experienced these extremely unpleasant side-effects, more than once – but, I suppose that’s just the human race for you. Besides losing your keys, phone, and wallet, it’s the main thing that every drinker fears the morning after. Not only is cannabis suggested to be significantly healthier, and safer than alcohol, it also doesn’t create a hangover. Yeah – you heard that right! If anything, it’ll make your sleep longer, and deeper, leaving you feel more refreshed and energised the next day.
You experience different effects, depending on which strain you smoke, and even though both Sativa, and Indica, are great, sometimes we need a little motivation, or to relax. So, if you’re looking to have a long, restful nights sleep, Indica is the one for you, inducing relaxation, and sedation effects, treating anxiety, and insomnia. On the other hand, if you have multiple chores to do, but you just don’t have the energy, Sativa is great for inducing creativity, and energy, as well and treating depression, and fatigue.
We’ve all heard of, and experienced ‘the munchies’ after smoking. So, not only do you feel much hungrier than usual, no matter what food you’re about to dive into – it instantly tastes 100x better than usual, making your £5 munch from the corner shop, feel like a luxury meal, which if your’e a real stoner – you’re probably not used to, because weed nowadays is so expensive, am-i-right?
